August Burns Red Rescue and Restore 10 Year Anniversary Tour With Spite Brand Of Sacrifice and Crystal Lake

As the Sunday blues were setting in the anticipation took over as it was time to leave. Over the US/CA border we went to London Music Hall In London Ontario for The 10th anniversary of the Rescue And Restore Tour with August Burns Red, Spite, Brand Of Sacrifice and Crystal Lake. As we arrived at the venue the line was quick, inside was packed as we arrived 10 mins before first set. After a quick stop at the merch stand for a spite Tee upstairs we went to claim a spot to watch crystal lake. The energetic movement of the band was on point. They utilized every bit of the stage. They even played my favorite song Disobey. As there set came to an end the crowd was chanting "CRYSTAL LAKE” over and over as the band members waved good bye and walked off stage. It felt like they had a close connection with there loyal fans. The Ontario Natives were Up next Brand Of Sacrifice from Toronto. There low light visuals mixed with there technical brutal breakdowns made for a great performance overall. The crowd definitely formed the biggest circle pit of the night during there song “Lifeblood”. The only reason i was crossing a international border driving a hour and a half on a work night was to see my favorite band of all time Spite. As i made my way to the pit Darius came kicking out on stage screaming “Made To Please”. It had the people moving immediately. Darius provoking the crowd and the slamming heavy riffs made for a night of roughhousing in the pit. In my opinion He is the best vocalist and it was just what my night needed. As i Crowd surfed my way to the front for there final song “Kill or Be Killed” I made my way upstairs for the long awaited August Burns Red. The most technical and vibrant light show iv seen in a long time mixed with explosions and smoke made for some of the coolest pictures. This band was no stranger to the stage as they knew how to keep the crowd moving through out there whole set. Was happy to hear some of there new music and of course “White Washed” and “Composure” my personal favorites.  I had spoken to a fan that said he seen ABR PLAY 15 YEARS AGO! This Og band seemed well respected and forsure proved there worth on stage. Overall the show lived up to the hype. The hospitality from the locals at the venue mixed with the killer line up made for a unforgettable night out in London. 10/10 would look into attending this show if its coming to an area near you!
